About the Role:

Are you an experienced Senior Children’s Support Worker, or a Ofsted Deputy looking for a new role?

Thrive Personnel is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established children’s residential care provider, founded in 2018, with homes across Liverpool and the Wirral. This organisation specialises in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex trauma. They are passionate about developing their team and have a record of progressing staff from Support Worker roles through to Registered Manager level.We are seeking a Deputy Manager for their Ofsted-registered 2-bed home in the Liverpool area, supporting two young males aged 16 and 12.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted standards

Assist the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care delivery

Provide leadership and mentoring to staff, promoting a therapeutic approach

Contribute to care planning and risk management for young people with complex trauma

Working Pattern:

2 on 4 off pattern, 8 shifts with sleeps, with 4 shifts being 9-5 office hours per month.

Full-time role offering £37,000 per year

Mix of on-shift and managerial hours each week

What the Client Offers:

£37,000 salary

Progression route to Registered Manager

Support to enrol on Level 5 Children & Young People following successful 12-week probation (if not already enrolled)

Candidate Requirements:

Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children & Young People (essential)

Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Senior in a children’s residential or similar Ofsted setting

A genuine interest in supporting young people with EBD and trauma

Willingness to undertake Level 5 training and grow within the organisation
