Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to install and secure cable trays.Cut, shape, and assemble metal and non-metal cable trays to accommodate electrical and communication cables.Install cable trays, hangers, supports, and brackets according to industry standards and project specifications.Secure and mount trays to walls, ceilings, and floors, ensuring stability and safety.Ensure proper alignment of trays and connections for seamless cable routing.Install and maintain cable management systems, including supports, spacers, and accessories.Perform regular inspections and maintenance of cable tray systems to ensure operational integrity. Proven experience as a cable tray fitter, installer, or similar role in construction or electrical industries.Strong knowledge of cable tray systems, components, and installation techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for cable tray installation.Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for tray fitting.Strong attention to detail, precision, and quality in work.Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, elevated work platforms).
