Position Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Contract Logistics team in the UAE. Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through strategic customer acquisition, solution-based selling, and development of customized logistics offerings. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of contract logistics, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term partnerships across key sectors.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in contract logistics, including warehousing, distribution, and value-added services (e.g., kitting, packaging).
Develop and execute a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Engage and maintain long-term relationships with key clients across e-commerce, retail, FMCG, and automotive sectors.
Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored logistics solutions that address client needs and operational challenges.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including RFP/RFQ submissions, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and SLA development.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning in the UAE and GCC contract logistics landscape.
Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities, working closely with warehouse and transportation teams.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, bonded warehousing, and regional logistics best practices.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in contract logistics sales , with a strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and value-added services.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios in the logistics sector.
Demonstrated experience in solution selling and creating end-to-end service models.
Experience working with clients in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, and automotive sectors.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC logistics markets , including customs clearance and bonded warehouse operations.
Skilled in proposal development , RFP/RFQ management, and contract negotiations .
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Results-oriented with a focus on achieving business development targets and revenue growth.
