
Munro Finance Services
We’re looking for an AAT qualified book-keeper to join our expanding practice.
The role will initially be a part-time, hybrid role. The successful candidate will be able to work remotely but may be required to occasionally visit clients in London and attend our office for periodic staff training, meetings and other events.
The role has the potential to become full-time as our practice continues to grow.
Skills & Experience
· AAT Level 2 or equivalent
· 2+ years of book-keeping or accounting experience
· Proficient with Xero, Excel, MS Office
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrates good organisational skills
· Previous experience of property / housing sector would be beneficial, but not essential
Responsibilities
· Management of sales and purchase ledgers
· Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
· Reconciling and balancing bank and control accounts on a schedule agreed with each client.
· Managing client invoices & payments
· Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts
· Prepare and submit VAT returns
· Production of monthly management reports
Salary & Benefits
£25.00 per hour
Annual bonus based on individual and company performance
28 day per annum holiday (pro-rata)
