Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and personable Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in cutting, trimming, styling hair, and shaving or grooming facial hair. A strong emphasis on customer service, hygiene, and staying up to date with current trends is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming services
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools and workstation
• Recommend haircare and grooming products when appropriate
• Keep up with industry trends and modern techniques
• Manage appointments and walk-in customers in a timely manner
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with all clients
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a barber or in a similar role
• Valid barber license or certification (if required by location)
• Excellent understanding of hair and skin types and suitable treatments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred:
• Knowledge of current grooming trends and styles
• Sales experience in grooming products
• Familiarity with sanitation and safety procedures
