Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, sourcing parts, and providing exceptional service to our customers in the automotive industry. This position requires strong organizational skills and a passion for automotive service, ensuring that all parts are readily available for repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
• Manage parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Source and procure automotive parts from various suppliers while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Communicate with outside service providers for machine shop, and other outsourcing works.
• Assist technicians with parts identification and availability for auto body repair and other services.
• Use different parts catalogs to identify parts with the help of VIN, for multiple brands.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the safe operation of other mechanical equipment
• Requirements
• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and processes.
• Strong sourcing skills to identify the best suppliers for required parts.
• Knowledge of auto body repair, and mechanical repair is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
