Job Overview:

Pioneer Cement Industries is hiring an experienced Auto Garage In-Charge to oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and earth-moving equipment for production and logistics operations. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, expertise in vehicle maintenance, and SAP-based reporting experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fleet Maintenance: Ensure all garage vehicles are operational for production & logistics departments.
• Supervision: Oversee and ensure timely completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
• Breakdown Response: Attend to breakdowns, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Department Coordination: Work closely with Production & Logistics for smooth operations.
• SAP Work Orders: Prepare work orders and purchase requisitions for vehicle maintenance in SAP.
• Technician Supervision: Monitor daily productivity reports and payroll records of garage technicians.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance as per schedule.
• Record Keeping: Maintain equipment history and repair records for failure analysis.
• Training & Development: Provide periodic training to technicians to enhance skills.
• Workplace Safety: Maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe work environment.
• Leadership: Take charge of other sections in the absence of the Section Engineer.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in maintaining Volvo, Scania, MAN trucks & heavy earth-moving vehicles (Komatsu, CAT Loaders).
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SAP for work orders & material requisitions.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and team management skills.
