The Role
Due to continued growth, Paxon requires an Associate Director / Senior Manager to join our expanding team in the GCC region. The role will be located in Abu Dhabi and provide services to clients in the GCC region, and will work closely with decision makers to develop, finance and transact key infrastructure and PPP projects.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage with clients and stakeholders across the GCC, providing expert advice and leadership in various aspects of infrastructure projects and financing.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the GCC to provide expert advice to our clients across the region.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
– Have at least 5 -7 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
• Have experience in the GCC as financial and commercial adviser on infrastructure projects and PPPs, particularly with experience providing advice to grantors/procurers.
• Can lead day-to-day client engagements with guidance from a Director.
Candidates with experience at the Big 4, consulting firms or investment banking organisations are encouraged to apply.

• Arabic professional language – able to conduct all work in Arabic
• Excellent proficiency in business English
• Financial and commercial acumen
• Understanding of project financing and commercial structures for project delivery
• Negotiation skills and the ability to navigate discussions to achieve desired outcomes
• Excellent analytical and research skills, and
• Advanced document writing and presentation preparation skills.
