Assistant Safety Officer

Job Summary

As an Assistant Safety Officer at Accor Dubai, you ensure the safety of guests and staff by conducting inspections, implementing protocols, and training on safety awareness. Collaborating with the security team, you address hazards and ensure compliance, maintaining Accor Dubai’s standard of excellence.
Job Description
• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations
• Developing measures to assure personnel safety.
• Facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines.
• Assist in conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
• Assist the Head of Safety to organize OHS training of employees and executives.
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and advise on corrective measures.
• Understand the operation of electrical, refrigeration, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Communicate with different departments and to provide them with information and assistance.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in hotel is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Be committed to exceeding guest expectations.
