We are hiring successful candidate for the role of API Design Engineer of Industry (API Machine Shop Products & ASME Fabrication Unit) in reputed Oil & Gas equipment’s manufacturing company.*** In charge of creating blueprints and schematics for systems, machines, and equipment. Develop preliminary sketches, detail section drawings from samples, using AutoCAD and engineering principles. Verify design input requirements.Prepare product designs in compliance with API 6A, 16A, 16C, 7-1, and other relevant standards.Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities.Maintain design packages and drawings.Prepare design calculations, sketches, drafts, final drawings, and material selections.Collaborate with Tool Design to ensure manufacturability, quality, functionality, and cost efficiency of product designs.Work on product improvements and optimizations.Analyze test data and reports to assess whether designs meet functional and performance specifications.Manage new and existing projects through to completion.Evaluate project requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.Perform analysis and calculations to appropriately size components in engineered product designs.Develop design plans using specialized design software. Mandatory experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting and design work.REQUIRED SKILLS: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Deep knowledge in API 6A, 16A, 16C, 7-1, 5CT standards and products.Proficient in AutoCAD Designing / Lay-outs of MEP works.Experience in Design, calculation, drawing preparation.Innovations and quick adoption of new technology.Skilled to Design and Develop fixtures/Tooling’s.
