Job Description:

To execute market requirements for both ADNOC MS&T freight and for the charter in/out of owned and operated tonnage under the guidance and authorisation of the Manager, ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.

Job Responsibilities:
• Present technical and administrative requirements during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in / out in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and in line with ADNOC company requirements.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Prepare (and own) reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.
• Recognize Opportunities in the market and present same to Manager.
• Prepare related documentations in order to transact negotiations in line with standards and requirements of ADNOC L&S.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.

Budgets
• Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives in line with KPIs.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
• Capture and own all relevant information and data for executed fixtures and post fixture calculations within the relevant IT systems within ADNOC L&S.
• Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.

Qualification & Experience:
• University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• 3-10 years relevant Dry Cargo Principal experience with an Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader.
