We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong consulting background to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting expertise and the ability to provide strategic financial advice to clients. This role involves preparing financial reports, advising on tax planning, improving internal controls, and supporting business strategies through comprehensive financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Consulting Services: Provide advisory services to clients, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost management. Recommend process improvements to enhance financial performance.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Advise clients on tax strategies, including minimizing tax liabilities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.
• Internal Control & Audits: Perform internal audits, identify areas for operational improvements, and implement effective controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Mergers & Acquisitions Support: Assist clients with due diligence, financial analysis, and post-merger integration.
• Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals, including investment decisions, cost reductions, and cash flow management.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results and provide recommendations to senior leadership, stakeholders, and external auditors.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a consulting capacity. Prior experience in working with clients and providing strategic financial advice is essential.
