CPRE Bedfordshire, the countryside charity
CWe’re looking for a volunteer with marketing and communications experience to join our board of Trustees. We’re passionate about making the countryside in Bedfordshire county a better place for everyone to enjoy.
What difference will you make?
As a marketing, comms and PR volunteer you’ll promote our local charity and increase support by reaching new audiences. You’ll also be able to join in with national campaigns. You will use your skills to help our charity and make a positive difference to the countryside.
What are we looking for?
Skills you need An interest in the countryside and environmental issues Experience of writing engaging content for publication and the web Good interpersonal skills and previous experience of building relationships with local media Ability to use your initiative and a collaborative approach Have access to a computer and the internet at home and be confident using them Be able to commit to volunteering regularly to suit your availability, with occasional attendance at meeting
What will you be doing?
By volunteering you’ll be helping to find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment. By applying your skills and experience you can make a real difference and be a central part of a friendly and passionate charity. We’re ideally looking for volunteers with some previous marketing and communications experience and a passion for environmental and countryside issues.
