Job Descriptions
Establishes an effective communication protocol to ensure that decisions are taken efficiently at all network stations.
Takes immediate action in coordination with ‘Network Control Centre’(NCC) and Hub Duty Manager to rectify issues relating to irregular operations including executing the Hub protection plan and critical activation of ‘Ground Handling Agent’ (GHA) service suppliers.
Investigate airport services delays in outstations and any breaches of supplier ‘Service Level Agreement’ (SLA) so that corrective action can be implemented.
Coordinates with management on ongoing action plans for service improvements; adapts all possible methods to achieve/exceed the set-up targets.
Oversees the flight schedules and monitors turnaround activity from a ground service perspective.
Manages the recovery of passengers and baggage disruption and ensures communication with Airport Operations on the action taken as per the Flight Disruption Handling Procedure Manual.
Guides the Airport Control Centre team when dealing with all operational issues or difficulties, to resolve difficulties and be proactive to reduce issues and associated costs.
Communicate with the relevant areas at the airport and provide up-to-date information on critical elements of the flight oversee the flight schedules and monitor turnaround activity from a ground service perspective.
Communicate with the ‘Emirates Hub Control Centre’ (EK HCC) for all connecting passengers’ issues or challenges to ensure smooth passenger transfer.
Reviews ‘On-Time Performance’ (OTP) data and records daily operational statistics to develop corrective actions to reduce delays.
