As an Agricultural Technician you will be responsible for providing technical support to farmers and agricultural businesses in Abu Dhabi You will work closely with Agronomists and other agricultural professionals to ensure the successful implementation of farming techniques and methods This is a part-time position with a salary of 900$ per month Responsibilities – Conduct soil and water testing to determine the best farming methods for different crops – Assist with the development of crop production plans and schedules – Monitor and analyze crop growth pest infestations and disease outbreaks – Provide recommendations for pest control and disease management – Train farmers on proper use of agricultural equipment and techniques – Conduct field visits to assess crop health and provide guidance on irrigation fertilization and other farming practices – Keep updated records of farm activities and provide reports to supervisors Requirements – Bachelors degree in Agronomy or related field preferred – Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role – Knowledge of local crops climate and soil conditions in Abu Dhabi is an advantage – Strong analytical skills to interpret data from soil tests weather patterns etc – Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with farmers and other team members – Proficiency in English is required knowledge of Nepali language is an asset Work Schedule This is a part-time position with flexible working hours You may be required to work weekends or evenings depending on farm needs Benefits In addition to the competitive salary we offer opportunities for career advancement within our company We also provide on-the-job training to help you develop your skills as an Agricultural Technician Note This position does not include accommodation Candidates must have their own accommodation in Abu Dhabi Join our team as an Agricultural Technician and play an essential role in promoting sustainable agriculture practices in Abu Dhabi Apply now by submitting your resume and cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and skills
