Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Bow, London
Pay: £12.40 per hour starting
Availability: Part-Time/Full-time
Shifts Needed:
We are hiring for a range of different shift patterns though preference will go to those available to work weekends and/or flexible to evening shifts.
Our opening hours are as follows:
• Mon-Thurs 07:30-22:00
• Friday 07:30-18:00
• Saturday 07:30-16:00
• Sunday 09:30-18:00
Start Date:
Possibility of an immediate start available for successful applicants.

Role Overview:
We are seeking proactive and efficient Production Assistants to support our weekly production and packing operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a positive attitude, looking for a fairly stress-free job, and interested in joining a fun and healthy vegan company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Depositing/Portioning team by transporting items up to 20kg around the unit (This will be your main responsibility when required).
• Pick items for shipment with a consistently high accuracy rate.
• Work to realistic timing targets to maintain company efficiency.
• Improve processes at Planthood, striving for efficiency savings where possible.
• Deposit and seal our fresh chef-made sauces and dressings in the kitchen.
• Operate food packing/depositing machines after receiving training.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solutions-oriented mindset, adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced food start-up.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, production, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
• Interest in plant-based food is a plus.
