• The consultant must possess a strong understanding of the energy industry, including renewable and traditional energy sources, as well as knowledge of the company’s products and services.

The job requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their energy needs, and provide tailored solutions. The consultant should be able to educate customers about the benefits and features of different energy products, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

The consultant will also be responsible for meeting sales targets and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer information. They must stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position the company’s products in the market.

Overall, the energy sales consultant plays a vital role in driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and promoting the company’s energy products and services in a competitive market.
• JOB DUTIES
• – Prospect and generate leads: Identify potential customers through various channels, such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research, to expand the customer base and create sales opportunities.
• Conduct sales presentations: Deliver compelling and informative presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of the company’s energy products and services. Customize presentations to address specific customer needs and showcase how the offerings can meet their energy requirements effectively.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s energy products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends, advancements, and regulations. Educate customers on the advantages and value propositions of different energy solutions, addressing any technical queries or concerns.
• Consult and assess customer needs: Engage with clients to understand their energy requirements, evaluate their current energy usage, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide tailored recommendations and solutions that align with their goals and help them make informed decisions.
• Negotiate and close sales deals: Collaborate with clients to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment options. Overcome objections, address concerns, and provide compelling arguments to win the customer’s business. Close sales deals in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain customer relationships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, addressing any post-sale issues, and keeping them informed about new products, promotions, and industry developments. Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all energy-related inquiries.
• Track and report sales activities: Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, customer information, and sales pipeline in a CRM system. Generate regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
