Mechanical Supervisor

Supervise all field work of the area and ensure sufficient and suitable resources and equipment are available to complete
correctly all assigned activities through utilization of COMPANY workshop, Contractor Yard workshop or external vendor repairs. Role Summary:
Apply the approved standards, procedures and schedules to ensure the reliability and integrity of the Plant equipment and systems in the allocated area.
Supervise all field work of the area and ensure sufficient and suitable resources and equipment are available to complete
correctly all assigned activities through utilization of COMPANY workshop, Contractor Yard workshop or external vendor repairs.
Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection and testing schedules and
ensure compliance.
Contribute to the development of maintenance plan by providing details of work scope and required resources and comply with the
established schedule.
Implement the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on relevant
equipment and ensure all work history and data is entered into the CMMS system.
Responsible for providing qualitative work on Mechanical equipment, ensure correct equipment installation, testing and proper
specification and selection.
Mentor Mechanical Technicians to help Oman nationals become competent Technicians.
Ensure that WORK is carried out in accordance with the QHSE policies and procedures.
Perform alignment work with laser alignment equipment and dial gauges.
Carry out Flange tightening by Hydraulic Torquing and tensioning methods.
Aware about the portable equipment inspection.
Supervise up to 10 Mechanical Technicians, Welders and Pipe Fitters Experience: 12 years experience in Mechanical maintenance work in the petrochemical/oil and gas or power generation industry with at least 5 years as a Mechanical Supervisor.

Education: Degree / HND or Diploma in relative discipline or its equivalent.

Specific Skills:

English language read, write and speaking to IELTS level
Able to work with computers, word, excel, and windows and good understanding of
Robust knowledge and understanding of various process equipment
Experienced in and be fully aware of the different pipes, gaskets and bolting
Experienced in overhauling of equipment like various types of pumps, fans, blowers, reciprocating compressors, at site.
Strong leadership skills to drive efficiency and productivity amongst

workforce.

Able to creatively work with COMPANY to remove any blockers to Hands on tool time
Mechanical supervisor shall be trained and certified on lifting and

sling up to Person in charge (PIC) level.

Meet all requirements for Lead Mechanical

Knowledge on spare parts identification and management.
