Job Overview
Brief Introduction to the School: This reputable and expanding private schools group, across the UAE, boasts state-of-the-art campuses in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, and Ras Al Khaimah. The schools cater to students from KG to Grade 12, with a spacious campus split into KG, Primary, and High School sections for boys and girls. The majority of students are of Arabic origin (95% are Emirati). Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
Additional Duties:
• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
• Participate in professional development opportunities
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject supported by a relevant teaching certificate (copy of degree and transcripts must be provided upon application).
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Previous ESL experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver motivating and creative learning environments
