Role Overview:

Marhaba Auctions, a leading player in the automotive auction industry in the United Arab Emirates, seeking a results-driven Security Manager with a minimum 5+ years of experience in the UAE to join our team .The ideal candidate mainly responsible of overseeing and managing the security operations of an organization, including developing and implementing security policies, managing personnel, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance. They also need to monitor security systems, respond to breaches and emergencies, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets and information.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
• Investigate security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
• Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.

Required skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of security services, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in UAE.
• Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
• Fluency in proficiency in English and Hindi/Urdu (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred skills:
• Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
• Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management
