You ll be responsible for processing journal entries, preparing financial reports, managing accounting databases, and resolving discrepancies in line with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.What Are the Key Responsibilities?- Record and process journal entries for business transactions- Audit supporting documentation to validate financial transactions- Maintain and update accounting records and financial statements- Ensure financial data is promptly and accurately entered into accounting systems- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports- Support the financial close process and coordinate with auditors- Monitor and implement accounting control procedures- Identify and resolve discrepancies and irregularities in account data- Analyze financial trends and support business operation decisions- Maintain compliance with international accounting standards and firm policiesWhat Skills Are Needed for an Accounting Associate in Dubai?Education & Background:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institutionExperience & Skills:- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint- Fluency in English; bilingual (Arabic/English) preferred- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders- Project management experience is an added advantage- Ability to work independently and within a team in a deadline-driven environmentWhat Benefits Come with This Position?- Competitive salary and structured career progression- Exposure to finance functions within a global consulting firm- Opportunity to work with diverse teams and top-tier clients- Access to global training resources and professional development programs- Supportive and inclusive culture that promotes career growth
