Textile Researcher

To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Textile Science or a related field, as well as extensive experience in the textile industry. You should also have a deep understanding of the latest trends in sustainable materials and a passion for creating lasting garments.As a Textile Researcher at Stella McCartney, you will be a crucial part of our design team and have the opportunity to make a real impact on the fashion industry. Responsibilities:

-Research and source innovative materials and processes for the Stella McCartney design team
-Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in sustainable materials
-Develop new materials and processes that will enable us to create beautiful, sustainable, and timeless pieces
-Collaborate with the design team to create lasting garments
-Maintain a deep understanding of textile science and the textile industry
-Ensure that all materials and processes are sustainable and comply with company standards
-Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
-Track and record all research and development activities
-Present findings and recommendations to the design team
