• Participate in monitoring the HSE activities including auditing, sampling and inspection.• Inspect the assigned Project Area daily to ensure works are executed safely.• To be responsible for the training of new hires and all levels of personnel on HSE matters, with a specific attention to particularly hazardous tasks.• Participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses.• Report immediately to the Site HSE Manager and area Superintendent/Supervisor in case of dangerous actions and/or situation.• To be of constant advisor on the field for any problem related to HSE for all the personnel.• Verify on daily basis the correct use of PPE by all the personnel.• Participate in the “Welfare and Site Committee” meetings monthly.• To ensure that Fire Fighting and Safety equipment is regularly inspected and serviced.• Check and ensure, the work crew deployed in respective area of control is completed require trainings and are competent.• Check and ensure that, all plant and equipment deployed for the executing the work in respective area of control are inspected and approved.• Check and ensure that, the approved MS & required level of FRA in place.• Check and ensure that, Permit to Work is in place and follow up on findings.• Ensure that all safety precautions stipulated in Permit to work and FRA is implemented at work area.• Monitoring day to day work activities in respective area of control and advise Site Supervisors in HSE matters for prompt corrective action.• Intervene and STOP the work if in presence of imminent danger to life and health, or to the environment and inform the Site Supervisor for corrective actions.• Take initiatives for evacuation, in case of emergency on site.• All the deviations which are taken during the Project in compliance with the COMPANY are recorded in HSE Deviation Register. NEBOSH (IGC) International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health from National Examination Board of Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH, UK)At least 3- 5 years of field safety experience with relevant safety certificationGood interpersonal, management and decision making skills. Able to maintain good relationships and intervene workforce, supervisory, engineering, managerial personnel respectfully.Must be able to work independently and to exercise initiative and judgmentMust be able to make sound technical decisions, and apply regulations and procedures to a wide variety of work situations.Good verbal communication skills, able to write technical reports, able to lead the organizing of HSE promotional activities.Assertive, self-starter, able to work under limited supervision to meet deadlines
