Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to support the design and preparation of shop drawings for HVAC and Smoke Management Systems for a self-storage facility in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have solid experience in MEP design, a thorough understanding of the Dubai Building Code, and the ability to produce accurate, compliant shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) layouts, focusing on HVAC and Smoke Management Systems.
• Prepare, review, and revise shop drawings as required.
• Ensure designs comply with Dubai Building Code and civil defense requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants where necessary.
• Provide support during approvals and permit processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design and drafting in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Code, DM, and Civil Defense standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality shop drawings.

Preferred:

• Experience with self-storage, warehouses, or light industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with smoke extraction, ventilation systems, and emergency management solutions.
