About the role:
We, at Turing, are looking for experienced C++ developers who will design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable C++ code to develop high-end desktop and mobile software, and also embedded systems. Job responsibilities
– Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing software modules for smart codecs
– Develop flow charts/design, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
– Design, develop, deploy, and maintain efficient, well-structured, testable, clean, and robust C++ code and also review previously written code
– Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new and more advanced products features
– Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems and optimize performance
– Make sure to adhere to the project plans, industry standards, technology trends, and development best practices
– Recommend and contribute to executing improvements on existing products
Job requirements
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
– 3+ years of development experience with C++ (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
– Proficient understanding of C++, PHP, and C
– Expertise in C++ coding on Linux platforms and ability to debug web applications in C#
– Experience working with relational databases, like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL scripts
– Knowledge of standard library and STL containers
– Understanding all phases of the software development lifecycle
– Solid understanding of software development practices, processes, and challenges
– Fluent in English to communicate effectively
– Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
