As a Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management, you are responsible for teaching, instructional design, and assessing students’ competencies in the field of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. Among the skills and concepts taught are:
• Planning and logistics coordination
• Inventory and warehouse management
• Customs regulations and international transport
• ERP Systems and Automation
• Data Analytics, IoT and Logistics Innovations
• Flow and cost optimization
• Urban ecology and sustainable mobility
Status: Contract – Operations and Supply Chain Management Program
Location: LaSalle College – Montreal Campus
Responsibilities
• Plan class sessions;
• Facilitate sessions in a structured and interactive manner;
• Design and administer assessments (formative and summative) according to the competency-based approach;
• Correcting assignments and evaluating achievements;
• Offer educational follow-up adapted to each student;
• Contribute to educational discussions and program meetings;
• Participate in the continuous updating of course content.
Requirements
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada;
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, operations management or related field (ERP certification required depending on the course);
• Have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in one of the following fields: logistics, supply chain, international transport, sustainable mobility, warehouse management, logistics technologies, etc. ;
• Have taught a full course in the last five (5) years (asset);
• Be proficient in French and/or English, as well as technical vocabulary in the second language.
