We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Internship Program. As an intern with the Government of Canada, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in various government departments and agencies. Through this program, you will gain valuable skills, expand your network, and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and programs that shape our nation.
• Assist with research, analysis, and policy development initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with team members to address challenges and find innovative solutions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior officials.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of communication strategies to engage stakeholders and the public.
• Currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution or recently graduated (within the past two years).
• Strong academic background in a relevant field such as public policy, political science, economics, social sciences, or related disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
• Demonstrated interest in public service and a commitment to contributing to the well-being of Canadians.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
