Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts that aid in strategic planning and decision-making.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors during the audit process to ensure compliance.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections to maintain positive cash flow.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency and enhance profitability.Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and business trends. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree is a plus to deepen financial acumen.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within a corporate or multi-national environment.Fluent in English, with proficiency in an additional language considered an asset for diverse business environments.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations.Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving collective goals.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Proactive and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting.
