Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is one of Canada’s leading breakfast chains, rapidly growing country-wide. We are looking to hire part-time Prep cooks/Dishwashers to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
– Assist with food preparation and handling, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients
– Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
– Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
– Assist with meal preparation and plating as needed
– Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of food items
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
– Basic understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
