Family in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham are looking for a live-in nanny to help with their three children, the older one is in school full time so most of your day will be with the two younger children. You will be responsible for ensuring that the children thrive, learn, grow and are in a happy, fun environment at home. The family will also provide a car for you to use. The parents lead very busy lives and are looking for that person who can support them in the day to day.
General duties:
Sole charge care
School runs – all local
Weaning and potty training
Arranging activities and classes and attending them
Planning age developmental activities
Cooking for the children
Cleaning up the kitchen after meal preparation
Organising and keeping the toys tidy
Normal nursery duties including the children’s laundry and keeping their play areas tidy
Helping the older one with homework
Driving the children
Travelling on some of the family holidays
Extra baby sitting and proxy parenting on occasion (paid overtime)
Candidate requirements:
It is essential that you have experience with babies and are confident will all the milestones
It is important that you have good communication skills, is highly organised and enthusiastic about getting the very best out of the children.
Ability to travel
Confident driver
Good role model for the children – firm but fair, manners and encouraging independence is very important to the parents
Salary: up to £40,000 and yearly bonus
