Lina's Italian Distribution
We are looking for a driver to take care of daily deliveries between our 5 locations and our warehouse. This position requires the individual to perform the below tasks while driving our company’s HINO TRUCK 5 Ton.
Duties:
• Transport finished goods and raw materials between our retail stores and the distribution center (within Lina’s businesses)
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Ability to lift 20lbs an asset
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Coordinate with store managers if required
• Weekends are required
• Preferred ability to inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have prior experience driving Trucks
