Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to oversee the effective functioning of our stores, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics including import/export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Main Responsibilities:
– Plan and perform tasks related to receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling, and delivering goods.
– Ensure proper storage of materials for easy identification and traceability.
– Clear GRN of all purchase goods within the designated lead time.
– Maintain perpetual inventory of RM and FG and plan for replenishment.
– Generate PR at re-order level and coordinate with purchase for replenishment.
– Maintain FIFO in receiving and issuing of materials.
Key Performance Indicators:
– Analyze stock levels and take necessary action on disposal of non-moving stock with management approval.
– Maintain stock as per books.
– Periodically check physical inventory against books and declare variations, including damage items, and obtain approval for stock adjustments.
Additional Responsibilities:
– Handle walk-in customers.
– Train store employees on products and store procedures.
– Ensure employees follow all HSE procedures as per company policy.
Requirements:
– Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in stores and logistics.
– Knowledge of RTA rules and regulations in the UAE market regarding logistics, logistics service providers, and export/import procedures.
– Good communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
– Familiarity with customs clearance, export/import policies, and procedures.
