Job description
We are seeking a warm, patient, and creative Montessori or Early Childhood Educator to work part-time with our 2.5-year-old child in a nurturing, home-based setting. The ideal candidate has experience with Montessori or play-based learning and a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging Montessori or Pre-K activities
• Support cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development
• Foster independence, curiosity, and a love of learning
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
• Provide feedback and updates to parents
Qualifications:
• Certified Montessori Teacher or Early Childhood Education (ECE) background
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Passion for child-led learning and positive reinforcement techniques
• Reliable, nurturing, and organized
Schedule:
Flexible mid afternoons to early evening (approx. 10–15 hours/week).
We’re happy to coordinate a schedule that works for both sides.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
