Job Title: Care Assistant

Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care and support to individuals within the care home
– Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Help with meal preparation and feeding if required
– Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
– Transfer individuals using moving and handling equipment
– Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
– Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
– Assist individuals with bedtime routines
– Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate members of the management team
– Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

– Working hours: 18.00 – 00.00.

Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
– Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

– Must be able to speak Tamil and English
